The Mount Baker ARC sponsors an IRLP node (3726) on the King Mtn. repeater that serves the local Bellingham area on 147.16 (+.6).  Please feel free to use the repeater and IRLP link to make contacts around the world.    If you have never used IRLP before, head over to http://irlp.net/ and use the links on the left of that page to learn all about it, and how to use it.  IRLP is the Internet Radio Linking Project which allows a user to create an internet connection between two IRLP equipped repeaters.  The Internet connection transfers all of the audio between the repeaters, making them perform as one- even though they might be thousands of miles apart.  All usage and control is done with your FM transceiver with a (touch-tone) keypad.

Please note that the system shuts down at 2201 and re-starts at 0601 every day.  This is an automatic function that has been implemented in the server and occurs without warning.  Any existing connection will terminate.  Thank  you Jon- KD7PSG for managing the IRLP system for the MBARC.
